In this Chevening talk, You will get a taste of disability equality training (DET) and learn about the importance of mainstreaming disability issues.

Speaker: 

Maureen Gilbert is an Irish disability and equality consultant with broad experience of working in Africa, Asia, Europe and US for UN, statutory bodies and NGOs. Her particularly strength is mainstreaming of disability inclusion in design and delivery of programmes and systems.

Time:

-          5.30pm – Registration

-          6.00pm – Disability inclusion workshop with Maureen Gilbert

-          7.00pm – 8.00pm – Canapés buffet and networking

-          8.00pm – Event ends

NOTE:

It is a free-entrance event for Chevening alumni and their friends. However, registration will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
