4月20日，哥大全球中心 | 北京邀请您参加流行音乐国际学术研讨会 —— What's Up, A-Pop？亚洲流行音乐和亚裔美国流行音乐的新思考。

On April 20, Columbia Global Centers | Beijing invites you to the symposium named "What's Up, A-Pop?: Re-thinking the Relationships between/among Asian and Asian American Popular Music Cultures".

本次研讨会邀请到来自中国、美国、日本、韩国流行音乐领域内的权威学者，分享他们最新的研究成果，并从历史和人文的角度，更广泛地讨论当代亚洲流行音乐文化和亚裔美国流行音乐文化的形成。

This symposium brings together an international panel of popular music scholars interested in Asian and Asian American popular music. The assembled scholars will present their latest research to begin a wider discussion of the formation of contemporary Asian popular music cultures from both historic as well as ethnographic perspectives, widening the scope given to the relationship between Asia and Asian America in a dynamic twenty-first century TransPacific.

• The event will be in both Chinese and English, lunch will not be provided.

• Due to limited seats, registration will be verified through the QR code confirmation. Please present your QR code at the entrance. 

• Registration begins 30 minutes prior to the program. Please plan to arrive no earlier than the registration time and no later than 20 minutes after the end of registration period.
