Roadie Founder

Bassam received his masters in Mechanical Engineering in 2008 from the American University of Beirut with a focus in robotics. Bassam wanted to combine his passion for music and technology. He co-founded Band Industries in 2013 and launched Roadie Tuner, an innovative tuning device for string musical instruments. After joining HAX in 2013 they raised $180K in pre-orders on Kickstarter for their 1st Generation Roadie Tuner and by 2017 they launched their 2nd Kickstarter campaign for the Roadie 2 and Roadie Bass and raised more than $500K in pre-orders. Band Industries manufactured and shipped over 50'000 units of Roadie Tuners to more than 55 countries worldwide and is currently selling in international music retail and distribution. Since the launch of Roadie 2, the company has been focused on building the next generation music education tools that uses state of the art signal processing and AI to identify students performance and progress.
