7月20日晚，哥伦比亚大学访问学者、艺术研究项目FormLAB创始人天乐博士将做客哥伦比亚大学全球中心 | 北京，分享他对跨文化艺术研究新发展潮流的贡献，以及介绍FormLAB近年在巴西、蒙古和中国举办的展览。他将重点分析跨学科的艺术家和学者是如何将研究、合作与交流相结合，以增进相互了解。

On July 20, Columbia Global Centers | Beijing will have Dr. Les Joynes to speak about his contributions to the new wave of intercultural arts research and FormLAB's recent exhibitions in Brazil, Mongolia, and China. His presentation will highlight how interdisciplinary artists and academics now combine research, collaboration, and exchange to build mutual understanding through arts.

天乐博士

Dr. Les Joynes

天乐博士是哥伦比亚大学的访问学者，主要研究教育的全球合作。他也是中国人民大学国际暑期学校（ISS）艺术史课程的客座教授，2017年富布赖特-海斯美国公共外交奖（中国）得主。他于1997年在伦敦金史密斯学院创立了艺术研究项目FormLAB。他的三本著作包括：《艺术与探索 （翻译仅供参考）》、《Anywhere第一册（翻译仅供参考）》；《新兴教学模式的对话（翻译仅供参考）》。

Dr. Les Joynes is a Visiting Scholar in Art and Education at Columbia University where he examines global cooperation in education. Dr. Joynes is a Visiting Professor at Renmin University’s International Summer School teaching art history and is 2017 Fulbright-Hays US Public Diplomacy Awardee for China. He founded FormLAB, an arts research project at Goldsmiths, London in 1997 and now contributes to three books: Going Beyond: Art as Adventure (Cambridge Scholars, UK); Anywhere v.1 (Parsons The New School, New York); and Conversations on Emerging Models of Teaching (Critical Practices, New York).
