About this Workshop:

This workshop will be a short, interactive introduction to Startup Weekend and Techstars Accelerator. Let's talk about the world's largest interactive startup event: Startup Weekend. Let's look at Techstars Accelerator and how it works. And at the end, let's do some skill practice, share some stories and network!

About Startup Weekend / 创业周末活动简介  

和其他创业周末一样，本次活动也将于周五晚开始，参加者将登台展示他们的创意，鼓励别人加入他们的团队。之后，我们会投票选出最佳创意，然后组建队伍。周六和周日，专业教练和导师（如成功企业家、设计师和大学教授）会给出一些反馈并指导这些队伍。通过使用精益创业（Lean Startup）、商业模式画布（Business Model Canvas）和客户开发（Customer Development）等方法和工具，参加者要构建出可行的商业模式或者作业模式，并由此创造一定的社会影响力。周日晚上，各支团队要通过讲解、演示和影像来展示他们的项目。专家评委会就此给出反馈意见并选出最佳的三支队伍。

Like all Startup Weekends, it all begins on Friday evening when participants will take the stage to present their ideas and inspire others to join their team. After, we vote the best ideas and then form teams. During Saturday and Sunday, expert coaches and mentors (such as successful entrepreneurs, designers and professors) will give feedback and help guide the teams. Using such methodologies and tools like Lean Startup, Business Model Canvas, and Customer Development, participants will aim to create a social impact along with a viable business model and, for some, a working prototype. On Sunday Evening, teams will present their own project through presentations, performance and demos. Expert judges will provide feedback and select the top three teams.

Directions: 

By car: go to 亮马桥麦子店街53号 (Liangmaqiao, Maizidian Jie No. 53). You can park inside the large car park with yellow entrance gates. It's the 4-storey yellow building on the corner between 麦子店街 and 麦子店西街, directly north of 龙宝大厦. When you're inside the car park, go into the entrance with 2 green bushes either side, and take the elevator to the 3rd Floor terrace.  

By subway: take Line 10 to Liangmaqiao Exit C, turn left out of the subway exit and walk through the car park to the yellow bridge, cross the bridge over the river, turn left, and walk along the river to the yellow building at the end (Around 5 minutes' walk). You can also take Line 14 to Zaoying subway station (10 minutes' walk).

自驾: 亮马桥麦子店街53号. 可开进黄色围挡并停在院内. 商务中心是四层黄色楼房就在麦子店街与麦子店西街之间的角上,龙宝大厦北. 停车后请进入绿色门入口并乘坐电梯至三层露台。 地铁: 乘坐10号线到亮马桥站C口出，沿着燕莎中心南侧走并过黄色河上桥，左转并直走到尽头的黄色四层楼(大概步行5分钟).  或可以乘14号线到达枣营站（步行10分钟）。
