Into his third decade in China, Richard has a pretty unmatched record. Involved with 8 successive startups as a co-founder or senior executive, and with dozens of others as a board member, advisor, mentor (HAX, Chinaccelerator & Startup 500) or investor. Besides this, he teaches entrepreneurship at Peking University and is a venture partner for nHack, bringing European startups to China/overseas and help them succeed in China & Asia.

Richard Robinson

nHack partner - Serial Entrepreneur - Investor - Mentor - MBA Professor at Peking University

Richard Robinson is a founding partner at nHack investing in Nordic startups and bringing them to China / Asia for market access, manufacturing, follow on funding, etc. Richard is a serial tech entrepreneur and executive, working in China since 1996. He has served as a senior executive at three companies from pre-IPO through to their public listings then went on to found five companies of which three have exited to publicly listed firms. Richard is an Adjunct Professor at Peking University's Guanghua MBA program teaching Entrepreneurship in China. Active as a startup advisor, mentor, and angel, Richard is a mentor at 500 Startups, Chinaccelerator and HAX. He frequently speaks at tech conferences globally, including serving as master of ceremonies at TechCrunch Beijing, Web Summit Lisbon and Dublin, GMIC Beijing and Silicon Valley, and Startup Asia Singapore and Jakarta.

Richard earned an MBA from RSM at Erasmus University in The Netherlands, studied at Cambridge University in the U.K., and

graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

He also worked his way around the world, including a solo bike tour through Africa from Nairobi to Cape town. He writes children books with proceedings going to charity and produces standup comedy shows across Asia with top comedians like Jim Gaffigan or Louis C. K.
